Advanced Radar Operations and Integrated Mission Support.

Iron Resolution is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOB) specializing in the worldwide operation, maintenance, and sustainment of AN/TPS-70 and AN/TPS-78 radar systems. We provide full site support through integrated logistics and ITAR compliant repair and sourcing for global defense organizations and partner nations.

Proven TPS-78 Expertise

Iron Resolution offers a dedicated restoration and sustainment capability for the AN/TPS-78 radar, tailored to recover systems from non operational states and maintain them at peak performance. We possess the specific technical expertise to diagnose and repair the platform’s most critical subsystem, from restoring the Radar Control Unit (RCU) and operator displays to overhauling the primary antenna drive assembly for reliable rotation.

Recognizing the challenges of supporting legacy equipment where spares are scarce, we back our field teams with a specialized depot facility that meticulously refurbishes obsolete circuit cards and components to their original operational parameters. By managing the entire scope of repair, wether mechanical, electrical, or system configuration, we provide a single, reliable resource to return your assets to active targeting and mission capable status.

Complex Radar System Relocation

Our leadership and technical team executed a complex relocation of an radar system in Northern Mexico, restoring it to full mission capable status. This high difficulty operation required advanced technical certifications, system teardown and reassembly, alignment and calibration, and full operational validation.

The team also relocated supporting SATCOM infrastructure, transitioning mission data from satellite links to secure terrestrial IP networks, including network configuration, secure integration, and end-to-end validation to ensure uninterrupted surveillance.

Legacy Radar Sustainment and Maintenance

Maintained a legacy AN/TPS-70 radar system, preserving full mission capability through preventive and corrective maintenance. On site work included PMIs, troubleshooting complex faults, alignment, calibration, and subsystem diagnostics. Components needing extensive refurbishment or precision recalibration were sent to depot level repair facilities all in compliance with ITAR requirements.

The team managed export and reimport of sensitive radar components and sourced hard to find parts, ensuring continuous operational readiness and system reliability despite the challenges of aging equipment.
